She began her career in ICT for development and quickly focused on digital finance business models and products targeting marginalized consumers. She then moved along the value chain to work in the enabling environment for fintech, including regulatory innovations and policy analysis. Prior to EMTECH, she worked at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at University of Cambridge Judge Business School, and still holds a role there as a Research Affiliate. Her work spans many areas of digital development and the digital finance ecosystem, including consumer protection, gender, policy, and regulatory analysis, working with stakeholders to assess how to manage and grow the quickly digitizing financial ecosystems of today’s world.
